      hello! i have problem
      solution:
      install pfsense 1.2 rc-3 on vmware

      The problem
      1. i can't upload file over 4k to my ftp server,but i can download file over 4k from ftp server
      2. the proble is same on msn, i can't any file is over 4k
      3. i can't install pkg is error
      Downloading package configuration file… done.
      Saving updated package information... done.
      Downloading squid and its dependencies... done.
      Checking for successful package installation... failed!
      Installation aborted.

      this error install squid BETA 2.6.5_1-p15 platform: 1.0

      what happen, i don't know the problem error on vm or not?Plz

        What is the configuration of your VMWare server (memory and disk space in particular)?

          Try enabling static port on the incoming interface (most likely LAN).  Search the forum for more info.

            my vmware ace edition 6.0 use disk 4g, ram 256M
            vm configure:
            use disk 4g, ram 256M
            add ethernet type bridge
            add ethernet 2 type bridge
            and run instll with iso file

            one network interface run under notebook and i read article this link http://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/Installing_pfSense_in_vmware_under_windows
            but i have one insterface lan
            how i configure this vmware
