      Hi,

I'm using the pfsense certificate manager as a simple local GUI to generate local certificates. I have two problems with alternative Names:

      1. As to what I see in other certificates, the contents of the field should read something like "DNS-Name=xxx". pfsense will only let me specify DNS.
      2. When trying to enter a wildcard DNS, I receive "subject must be a valid hostname or FQDN".

Is that an expected behavior, or am I doing something wrong? Would editing system_certmanager.php and deleting the respective checks produce valid certificates?

      Best wishes, Frank
