I am trying to run SquidGuard on 1.2-RC3.  For some reason, I'm seeing this line in the systems log after a few minutes that I started SquidGuard:

(squid): The url_rewriter helpers are crashing too rapidly, need help!

If I try to browse while the SG service is running, I simply get a blank page.

When Googling for this message, I found the following interesting post:
      http://www.squid-cache.org/mail-archive/squid-users/200708/0729.html

I don't know if that has anything to do with it…

How can I try to troubleshoot this?

      Thanks for any help.

Reinstall SquidGuard and check once more.

          That seems to have worked.

          Thanks!

Now, I remember reading somewhere that the redirected pages are broken.  I only get a blank page when I hit a banned web site.

Is there a thread somewhere (that I could not find) that would give directions on how to build a custom page for the redirects?
