Pfsense on Mini ITX Gygabyte Mother Board GA-Z87N-WIFI
-
Team, i am planning to build a PFsense based on a Mini ITX motherboard. I have been thinking to use this one:
http://www.gigabyte.us/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4600#ov
My setup requires 200Mbps of Internet bandwidth and around 10-20 internal users with some services published on internet like a web portal and some SIP trunks terminated in an Asterisk PBX in my network.
I am planing to buy a i5 processor with 4 to 8Gb of RAM.
As of features, i am planing to use:
- NAT
- DHCP Server
- URL Filtering (maybe content filtering)
- VPN Server
- Dynamic DNS client
Do you think this HW will perform well?
Saludos

That board will support those services and bandwidth but I wouldn't recommend buying it.
The Atheros NIC is not supported by pfSense 2.1.3. The wifi is not supported either. See:
