IMSpector 20111108 pkg v 0.3.2 MySQL Logging Problem
I installed IMSPECTOR and is working fine except the logging to MySQL… can anybody give me link as to the table required for it to work? I read somewhere that I need imspector.sql, but I cant find that file, where is it stored?
After couple of hours, i installed Imspector manually, and now connect to mysql-server and create the message table . i think the new version is not installing all dependencies .
jwan , run this on pfsense shell :
Unfortunately the www.imspector.org is down, Please,Please,Please keep this package up to date.
nimanhd, thanks for the info… however, I dont know what to do next after the download, it says:
Fetching http://files.pfsense.org/packages/8/All/imspector-0.9.tbz... Done.
Fetching http://files.pfsense.org/packages/8/All/pkg-config-0.25_1.tbz... Done.
Fetching http://files.pfsense.org/packages/8/All/sqlite3-184.108.40.206.tbz... Done.
Fetching http://files.pfsense.org/packages/8/All/mysql-client-5.1.63.tbz... Done .
May I know whats the next step? coz the package tab of pfsense still shows 20111108 pkg v 0.3.2
It`s done jwan, try to connect to MySQL from Imspector Menu, it works for me.
This command is not update imspector, just install with FreeBSD package manager.
Sorry, it seems I messed up and need your help. After doing the pkg_add I see no changes in the package version, it still shows "20111108 pkg v 0.3.2". My MySQL server's imspector database also have no table nor structure, its just a blank database. So I uninstalled the 20111108 pkg v 0.3.2 package and now IMSpector is not under the Services menu anymore.
So I reinstalled 20111108 pkg v 0.3.2 and the IMSpector is now under the Services menu, but now the services dashboard now show Imspector as not running despite many attempt to run it, it still is not running. A check on the MySQL still show no tables under the imspector database.
NEED HELP! how to revert everything back to before the pkg_add imspector-0.9.tbz?
Install Imspector from package, and then install it from shell with pkg_add . depend on your Mysql Server , you need to install the proper version of mysql_client.
pkg_add will not change version of package, just install it manually with freeBSD Package manager.
