      So there was an old time thread about a user having issue with getting dhcp because the ttl was set to 16.

      I had compiled a fix for him, and filed a bug with freebsd quite some time ago, and seems the original thread was locked, so I couldn't update it.

        Verify that the fix is indeed in all supported versions of FreeBSD. The bug database was just migrated to Bugzilla from the old GNATS system and there might be false alarms etc. before everything stablizes.
