      These forums are mainly user-assisted.  While the pfSense people are often here to help with some problems, their obligation is to their paid support customers.  If this is a bug then I doubt it's going to get fixed in 2.1.x since they're busy working on 2.2.

        I get that part. But would it be at least acknowledged that this is a known bug?

            @kevindd992002:

            BUMP!

            I also still have the issue of it showing 2x or 1/2 the real traffic, which also causes issues with scaling since it sometimes draws off the graph. It sometimes affects the upload or the download or both, but I have never had it affect both upload and download with the same multiplier at the same time. One may be 1/2 and the other 2x, but not both 2x or both 1/2. Not that I've noticed anyway. RRD seems to be unaffected and the raw numbers seem to be correct.

              Isn't this a real bug in the system? I mean this wasn't the case in the previous versions. Why is it in the lowest priority of their to-do list?

                Yes - I've read in the past where bandwidth is display incorrectly at times.  It was a bug before.  Not sure if it still is.

                  I can confirm it still is. It was a bug in the latest version and not in the previous versions.

                    It's a bug in FreeBSD, which makes it appear in pfSense.  Traffic in certain cases counts double.

                      Who do we need to contact to report the bug?
