      Hi,
I've run the traffic shaping wizard to create the rules.
I want to limit bandwidth to a number of clients and therefore created a firewall alias. (but it also won't work with a single host).
I'm disabling all shaping rules except the penalize option.
With the rules and queues below i'm still able to download at full speed.
If i change the bandwidth of qWIFI_LANRoot then the downloadspeed goes down,
but that will be the bandwidth limit for the whole group, i want a per host limit,
Anyone can take a look at the rules and see whats wrong ?
Edit: All traffic seems to pass through  qWIFI_LANdef ?

        or steps for debugging ?
        Any help is welcome.

When you click on the PENALTY UP queue… you have it set for 1%, but do you have an UPPER LIMIT set for the bandwidth?

Per host limits are not supported as this would mean individual queues per host. Please search the forum for further details as this has been discussed already.

Actually this is not true! IF you had the 'know how' for HFSC you can do that.(Per host limit, bursting, and priority based shaping[bosses and stuff]).

Heh, sometimes i forget about differences in the shapers :).

Though per user limit will be on 1.3, at least i have planned so.
