      Hardware: axiomtek na 361
      Version: pfSense 2.2 10-STABLE-i386

      Hi Guys,

I'm having issues with installing pfsense 2.2 to this bit of hardware. I'm using a live CD, installing to a hard disk drive.
This box doesn't have any VGA out, but I can use the serial port instead.

Before I launched the install, I had to specify set console=comconsole in the loader to get the output displayed when running the initial install.
After the install has finished, the box reboots, gets to f1 pfsense f6 pxe boot menu, and looks to freeze. Any key presses (other than f1 or f6) show in the console as an asterisk.
During the install, the I've tried both kernal options, the standard kernal and the kernal with serial, no keyboard etc.

I assume this has something to do with the full install trying to display the output over VGA.

Does anyone know a way I can get around this?

      Cheers

I managed to resolve this issue.
I cut down the partition size to 12 gb (it was 200gb) and it booted fine.
