      Hi all,

      I just bought an msata for my apu 1c board and now i need to install pfsense on it, can anyone please help me how to go about this, do i need to partition the msata disk first using fdisk?

        No, the installer can partition the disk for you.

          What's the terminal command  to install the pfsense image on your USB to the msata disk?

            If I remember correctly, during boot you get an option menu where one can choose to install pfSense, or run it from boot media (in your case the usb)
            I used that way, and it installed fine on my msata…

            4x XG-7100 (2xHA), 1x SG-4860, 1x SG-2100
            1x PC Engines APU2C4, 1x PC Engines APU1C4
