    Squid3 reverse proxy - Can I automate the creation of mappings?

      I am running zpanel servers behind pfsense, and using squid3 as a reverse proxy to direct traffic to the right servers. I would like users to be able to add their own domains to their zpanel accounts, then have squid3 receive updates from the zpanel server and create the mappings. Can someone tell me if that is possible or even reasonable?

      EDIT: I guess a better way of asking this is can I point squid3 at an internal DNS server instead of creating manual mappings?
