      Hi

After testing vlan's in my home i ended with that error. My nic support altq, em driver problem? vlan driver problem?.

Cant have traffic shaping (HFSC) enabled in this interface.

      Old (maybe) related redmine:  https://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?topic=47984.0

Edit: em is in is_altq_capable($int) function inside interfaces.inc.

      Thanks

em supports ALTQ but it's likely that our patches to let VLANs support ALTQ are not yet active.

EDIT: I confirmed that it is broken. New ticket opened in Redmine here: https://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/3745 (The one from the other thread was for a previous unrelated version)

We also faced this same issue.

Are the patch on https://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/3745#change-14294 reverted?

I want to test some stuff on new snaps. I do not want to change my Vlan settings in my Switches.

Edited:  2.2-ALPHA (amd64) built on Fri Jul 11 23:19:58 CDT 2014 patch are in fact reverted.
