      Hi guys,

i did a lot of searching on this topic regarding pfsense but unfortunately did not find anything.

My Provider (A1 adsl in austria) forces a reconnect every 24h(?).
I have set up their modem in SU mode to manage the connection from pfsense.
Unfortunately i have to use a wan pptp connection since the provider does not support pppoe.

My issue is that i'd like to have the forced disconnect at a set time rather then let the provider decide.
So i would need to set a cron job to disconnect and connect the wan interface at a set time.

Is this even possible? I saw that an auto reconnect option is present when configuring a pppoe wan connection but unfortunately this option is not there when using pptp.

      kind regards
