I couldn't find the links forum so I am posting it here. If I am not allowed to do so, please don't shoot me :-[
I stumbled across this. This is an official MS site, so I take it it is legit. Some of this stuff is obviously marketing material, but it also contains some real ebooks.

Since I was too lazy to make a selection, I downed them all. I used Firefox with the Downthemall extension, fastfilter: pdf,ebook,zip,doc. 'tWorked :P
