We've got our Multi-WAN setup using the guide here -> https://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/Multi-WAN_2.0.

We've got a lot of UDP traffic to some of our application servers (outside the LAN) for which we need a connection to stay on the same Gateway for the duration of the traffic between a local LAN host and the application server.

Currently we accomplish this by keeping all UDP traffic on the faster gateway and using the balanced gateway group only for TCP. I'm wondering if we could also use the balanced gateway group for UDP as long as we can make the connections sticky (with some timeout).

Does the "Use sticky connections" apply to the Multi-WAN setup I've described, or only the more complex Load Balancer using pools (which we are not using)?
