Setting Custom IPv6 Link Local

I did a search, couldn't find anything concrete so I apologize if this is a duplicate question.

I want to set a custom Link Local address for my IPv6 interfaces. How would I do this?

You can add it as an IP Alias VIP. It will exist along with the auto-generated version. That can also be disabled with a sysctl, but it's not recommended to do so since it could have unintended consequences.
