Supermicro A1SAi - No ports detected
-
We're trying to install pfsense on a Supermicro A1SAi motherboard.
It's not detecting any of the onboard NIC ports. We got this motherboard specifically for the amount of ports it had available. Is there anything that can get those recognized? (I have tried 2.2 as well)

Trel, have you tried contacting Supermicro customer support?

You could also boot a CentOS 6.5 LiveCD or something similar, just to check if the NICs are visible and that they work.

The Supermicro A1SRi uses the same "C2000 SoC I354 Quad GbE controllers" and pfSense detects the NIC's with no issues. Bad hardware? If you connect to the IPMI interface, does it recognize the 4 LAN interfaces on the System Summary screen?

I'll see if that works. I think I have a few Linux live CDs sitting around somewhere.

The NIC is quite new, so you should keep that in mind when finding a livecd. I know CentOS version >= 6.5 should support the NIC.

Edit: well, not that new, but new enough.
