Strange problem

ok…first off im not new to pfsense. i did however just have a problem with my box...ill try to explain it in simple logic. here goes...everything has been running fine for months NO ISSUES! my isp came out to troubleshoot modem problems...in short he replaced the modem upon reconnecting to the pfs box it shows my wan had changed and now i have no access to the webconfig. it took me going back to factory defaults from the console to gain access again. tried everything i could think of. reloaded the web configurator, re assigned interfaces, reset ip addresses, rebooted the system, pinged the host with no problems, tried restoring a recent config...all no luck..this was all done prior to the factory reset..anyone have any idea what could have caused this?
just seems to be a pain to re setup everything when it was working fine. -
Conflicting subnet with the new modem?

might have been.happened again so i ran a test on the hardware nic test failed. i think it might be a possible hardware malfunction with the nic. have a new server coming in that i stole on ebay…will probably cost them more to ship than what i paid for it. if it continues after the swap ill check it out. thanks for the insight.
