[cron?] automatic Restart of HAPROXY if ping fails…

hi there..

what we would like to accomplish is an automatic restart of HAPROXY when a ping fails. One Backendserver is linked via Internet but unfortunately has got a dynamic IP address. We would like to execute a script every 30 seconds (cron) which checks if the server is available (DynDND). If the ping fails we would like to restart haproxy service so it knows about the current IP.

would it be possible? can anyone give us a hint?
