I have two subnets, when I transfer a 20gb file between to servers on these two subnets, I'm being limited to 40MB.  When I transfer directly, I get 100+MB…why is pfsense limiting me?  I don't have any traffic shaping or limiters on the LAN, only on the WAN.

Here are the tests I did:

      In production:
Two servers, one is 10.0.1.10, the other is 10.0.2.10 (these are not the real IP's, both of these servers are on public IP's, i.e. NOT nat'd), both netmasks are /24...which means moving between them goes through my router (pfsense).  Transfers between the two servers are limited to 40MB.

      Test:
I set local IP's on the two servers, i.e. 192.168.1.5 and 192.168.1.6...transfers between the two servers, using the local IP are 100+MB.

All network infrastructure is Gig (nics, cables, switches, etc.).

What is going on, please help.

      Thanks,

      John

Here's the traffic shapper…nothing set.  (I did have it set months ago, but only the WAN interface, to about 40MB...but it hasn't been set for a few months...it's just odd that's what it's limiting to).
