    Strange hostname in RRD and syslog

      Hello,
      I just reinstalled pfsense and setup the correct hostname in "general setup". First it showed the correct hostname in the rrd graphs and syslog but after some time (not sure what triggers it) it shows something like this "x1-6- <mac-address-from wan)"="" for="" the="" hostname.="" <br="">Has anyone an idea where this comes from? I have a WAN connection with dhcp and I already tried to supply the hostname there in case it got overridden by the tsp dhcp server.</mac-address-from>

        It's being overwritten by DHCP. We've fixed that issue recently:
