      Hello,
      I'm a newbie in Pfsense.
      I managed to install successfully 2.1.4 on a ALIX APU1C Board.
      But when I'm using the console, logged as admin, I'm not able to write on any config file.
      Good example is /boot/loader.conf
      It's always shown as Read-only when I try to save with Vi editor.
      When doing the same from the GUI editor, it works.
      Is there any trick there I should consider to get this working ?
      Thanks
      Bauer

        Are you running the "nano" version? It is read only by default. (https://www.pfsense.org/about-pfsense/versions.html#embedded)

        To mount as read/write:
        https://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/Remount_embedded_filesystem_as_read-write

          Thank you very much.
          In 2.1.4 you would sove it by using the guii
          Diagnostics -> NanoBSD ->  Media Read/Write Status  -> Permament -> Save.
