I have a box with a NIC which is able to boot the host using iSCSI disk.

I tested the configuration and it seems to be working with regular operating systems.

However pfSense Installer does not recognize the boot device. Is there a way to install pfSense using iSCSI Boot Firmware Table (iBFT)?

UPDATE: It seems to be possible for FreeBSD, prooflink http://blather.michaelwlucas.com/archives/156

There was a great post about that in 2008: https://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?topic=8273

It's a pity it haven't got enough attention.
