On-Board NIC on Dell SC440

I can't get the onboard nic to work on the sc440. Has anyone gotten on these to recognize the onboard adapter? The boardcom in the pci-x slot works fine. Not sure what is on the system board.

Of course, you don't say what version of pfSense you're using, but 1.2 is based off of 6.2-RELEASE, so you're probably out of luck.

I wait for pfsense on 7.0 before I try to build my own kernal.

Or you could simply raise a request to move the base from 6.2-RELEASE to 6.3-RELEASE (as anything after 6.2-RELEASE will have the driver you're after).

I'd guess a bug report may be the way to do it, but given that I'm just another user I can't say for certain.
