Ntop Reliability

Hi All

I want to start using PfSense as our main workplace router and use Ntop to count all my data usage going throught the router.

Can anyone tell me how reliable Ntop is. I'm a little concerned about how reliabel it is, I pretty much want Ntop to have the same uptime as I expect from my router.

Can I expect Ntop to work well on PfSense? Does any one have a good/bad report about it?

Does anyone have an alternative solution they could suggest. I want to be able to report on exactly what traffic is going where, where it came from and how much of it has passed through the router.
