Packages.pfsense.org IPv6 unreachable
-
Hello All,
I noticed after upgrading to 2.1.5-RELEASE that it's unable to pull package information from https://packages.pfsense.org. I did some digging, starting by checking that pfSense can reach packages.pfsense.org and that client machines are able to do so. Summed up, packages.pfsense.org has a v6 record, but nothing is responding to pings or TCP/443 at that address. Here's curl on a client machine (not behind pfSense for what it's worth) trying both v4 and v6 addresses and failing v6
$ curl -v4 https://packages.pfsense.org
- About to connect() to packages.pfsense.org port 443 (#0)
* Trying 208.123.73.88… - connected
- Connected to packages.pfsense.org (208.123.73.88) port 443 (#0)
$ curl -v6 https://packages.pfsense.org
- About to connect() to packages.pfsense.org port 443 (#0)
* Trying 2610:160:11:11::88... - No route to host
- couldn't connect to host
- Closing connection #0
curl: (7) couldn't connect to host
[PS: Terribly sorry if this is the wrong forum in which to bring up this issue.]
