As of yesterday when I updated to 2.1.5 I can no longer install any packages!  They all fail while installing "additional components" if they even get that far - a fair number of packages seem to fail while trying to download the package from the server:

Beginning package installation for suricata .
      Downloading package configuration file… done.
      Saving updated package information... done.
      Downloading suricata and its dependencies...
Checking for package installation... Loading package configuration... done.
      Configuring package components...
      Additional files... suricata_generate_yaml.php failed.
      Removing package...
      Starting package deletion for suricata-1.4.6-amd64...done.
      Removing suricata components...
      Menu items... done.
      Services... done.
      Loading package instructions...
      Deinstall commands... done.
      Removing package instructions...done.
      Auxiliary files... done.
      Package XML... done.
      Configuration... done.
      done.
      Failed to install package.

      Installation halted.

      System logs:
Aug 29 10:23:57 php: /pkg_mgr_install.php: Beginning package installation for suricata . (nothing follows)

I finally got the install to finish but still didn't have it in the GUI -- then this...

If they do install the GUI XML files don't seem to get installed and often the package files when I try to just reinstall the GUI side:
      --From re-installing GUI for Suricata--
Aug 29 10:16:01 php: /pkg_mgr_install.php: XMLRPC communication error: Operation timed out
Aug 29 10:16:01 php: /pkg_mgr_install.php: XML_RPC_Client: Connection to RPC server packages.pfsense.org:443 failed. Operation timed out 103
      Aug 29 10:15:51 check_reload_status: Syncing firewall
Aug 29 10:15:51 php: /pkg_mgr_install.php: XML error: no packagegui object found!

OK well things are working correctly again as of yesterday afternoon and are still working today.  Server must have been having some connectivity errors.

Sep 17 22:16:23 php-fpm[25937]: /pkg_mgr_install.php: Beginning package installation for pfBlockerNG

Starting tons of duplicate threads about the same certainly won't fix it.

I'm searching the forums for solutions.  No harm intended.
