Same VLAN on multiple Ports?
-
Hi Everyone,
I have a so far fine running installation of pfS 2.1.5 with the following setup:
WAN1 WAN2
+ +
| |
| |
+–+------------+----+
| |
| pfSense |
| | |/ |/ (APs)
++------+--------+---+
| | | | |
| | | | |
| | | | |
| | +--+-------------------+ | |
| | | +------+ |
| | | Switch 1 | |
| | | +-----------+
| | +----------------------+
| | |/ |/ (APs)
| | | |
| | +----------------------+ | |
| | | +------+ |
| +-----+ Switch 2 | |
| | +-----------+
| +----------------------+
| |/ |/ (APs)
| | |
| +----------------------+ | |
| | +------+ |
+------------+ Switch 3
| +-----------+
+----------------------+To manage several WLAN Access Points with one central Controller (Ubiquity UniFi) I need to share the same Admin-VLAN on all LAN Ports of the pfSense box. The easiest option would be to daisychain the switches, but unfortunately I'm not allowed to do that.
Could anybody be so kind and help me out with the steps needed to achieve that in pfSense? Thanks a lot!
Harry
