      Howdy,
I've been attempting to setup my own internal network of virtual machines using VirtualBox and pfsense.  Seems like all was going okay until I got around to setting up the DNS/DHCP/AD DS on my Windows Server 2012 R2 virtual machine.  Although I can't be 100 certain.  I seem to have lost internet connection and I get Event ID 4013 on the server:

"The DNS server is waiting for Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) to signal that the initial synchronization of the directory has been completed. The DNS server service cannot start until the initial synchronization is complete because critical DNS data might not yet be replicated onto this domain controller. If events in the AD DS event log indicate that there is a problem with DNS name resolution, consider adding the IP address of another DNS server for this domain to the DNS server list in the Internet Protocol properties of this computer. This event will be logged every two minutes until AD DS has signaled that the initial synchronization has successfully completed."

Additionally I created a second Window Server 2012 R2 VM and set the network settings to run on the internal network.  I can ping the DNS/DHCP/AD DS machine, but I can't seem to join it to the domain.

If anyone has encountered this error before I would greatly appreciate any help/advice that can be offered.

      Many Thanks.
