We're monitoring tens of pfSenses, and want to automatically check that the firmware is at the latest. Is it an URL we can compare the version string with, or is it a flag in the snmp which tells us that an upgrade is available?

I assume you realise it does this already and displays it on the dashboard?
The file it checks against is:
        https://updates.pfsense.org/_updaters/version
        That's for 32bit full installs.

Thank you very much. Exactly what I needed :)
I know it does it automatically, but I want to check it from PRTG (www.paessler.com)
