Unable to create Network or Host type Alias

Looks like recently, these types of aliases are not working.

Clean install of today's build:
2.2-BETA (amd64)
built on Thu Oct 02 15:08:44 CDT 2014
FreeBSD 10.1-PRERELEASE

Create a Host or Network type alias.
The table does not get created.

There is also a similar issue on a clean install in 2.1.5:

Create a Network alias with a FQDN.
Table is created and populated.
Add a CIDR entry, table disappears.

Has something changed in how these should work?

One more thing, the table view under Diagnostics/Tables is not working. Shows an empty selection box. I had to use pfctl to view them (or not).
