      Hi,

I have an Adaptec 5405 Z controller with 2x SATA drives in RAID-1. How can I make sure the RAID volume is healthy? Is there any plugin/extension to check RAID status?

      Thanks!

You have to install drivers for it, if there aren't any already present. But anyway, you'd have to use the console/shell to check manually, as I don't think pfSense has any feature on its WebGUI for that.

You would probably need manufacturer's utility plus correct driver.
LSI card owners can download/install (from LSI web site) megacli command line utility which works in FreeBSD. I would imagine Adaptec is providing something similar

You'd need to compile driver/utility in another machine with the same arch and FreeBSD version though
