Automatic shutdown of pfSense on laptop when AC power is lost

Is there a way to make the network UPS tools package in pfSense to treat the battery/AC supply of a laptop as a UPS and kick in a shutdown sequence when AC is lost? Actually, I wouldn't care for reading battery charge or voltage levels etc, all that I would want is to trigger shutdown on AC loss.
