I'm having an issue where my pfsense server is randomly crashing and restarting.  I am running running version 2.1.5.  I just submitted a crash report within the last hour.  Can anyone help me to resolve this issue?

      Thanks,
      Mike

To lookup a crash report we need to know the IP address from which it was submitted and the approximate time.

I did not see anything submitted from the same IP address used when you made this forum post. Would it have come from somewhere else?

I should have come from 64.x.x.x or 50.x.x.x.  I sent it about an 30-60 minutes before my post.  Thanks for your help.

          EDIT: removed IP info -jimp

It was from the 64 IP. I removed your IP info from the post to be safe.

I saw three crashes submitted yesterday from that IP address, and they all were slightly different, though they were all double faults.

Only one of them looked like it had a possible cause, it looks like it may have been mbuf exhaustion or a similar issue. The other two seemed fairly random. Not much to go on.

See http://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/Tuning_and_Troubleshooting_Network_Cards for some info on tweaking nmbclusters to see if that helps.
