      I just upgraded to 2.2:
I'm missing the gateway entries for openvpn server entries.
In earlier version it was very easy to see if peers were up and what ping times they had.

It was a bug that they actually showed up that way, which has since been fixed. You can see their "up" status in Status>OpenVPN as always. For ping times, gateway monitoring not the best there, a general network monitoring system is a better choice.

Actually it may be a bug to have them missing. They were showing up on purpose. We need Gateways to show up for OpenVPN servers as well as clients, at least in Shared Key mode and SSL/TLS with a /30. It's just as valid to policy route in that direction and there are people using it that way in production.

https://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/3713 was the problem - It was supposed to only exclude TAP OpenVPN gateways from being created, not tun, but both were removed.
I reopened the ticket as there are people who will have their configs broken by that on upgrade.

Yeah JimP's right for that circumstance. If they're shared key, or /30s, that should be there.

Those should come back after either a gitsync to master, or upgrading to tomorrow's snapshot.
