The version available in the pfSense package overview is old (2.x). There is a new major version available http://phpsysinfo.github.io/phpsysinfo/ which is important to use, because it offers an xml or json api, so we can further use this info for monitoring purpose.

When are packages updated in pfSense and has any one experience with making the update manually?

Thank you in advance for your answer

Yeah, i asked in the phpSysInfo group, but they send me to the forums here.

Anything i can do to push this at the pfSense developers? I mean the available version is pretty damn old!

              i see,

              i keep that in mind.

Is there a short tutorial for packages.. Perhaps that is something i could discuss internally in our company.

I got it running quite simple but not able to make a package for it yet.  I never made one and don't have any setup to do it.

I hope someone does make a package for it.  It is quite simple to get running just copy files and run the php index file.  To get more just edit the config file some and maybe install a module or two for more functions
