      Hello,

I've set up a vip/carp interface on my pfSense cluster, which works fine.

I noticed that the mac address sent from the vip interface is the one of the physical interface, not the vip.

So, I changed the net.link.ether.inet.carp_mac to 1, without success, the vip interface continues to send packets with the physical mac address.

      Any advice ?

      Thanks

That's the expected behavior, it's fine. carp_mac doesn't look to do anything in 2.2, previously it'd only change the source on ARP replies. There shouldn't be a problem with that behavior.

          Hello,

          Thanks for your reply!

          I'm using version 2.1.3.

So, is there any configuration to send packets (at least ARP replies) with the vip mac address ?
