    Hi,

I have been away from home a little lately and have been playing with pfsense. Unfortunately, along the way i have messed with a setting i think which has dropped my wan connection, thus losing my connection to pfsense.

I was wondering if there is a way to make a rule for pfsense to check for a connection every 120sec or so and if no connection try to connect using WAN interface.

It may already do something like this but im new an am unsure.

My WAN connects using PPPOE to my ISP.

What possibly caused this was I added another interface OP1 and setup a few things (I think it was on the same ethernet port as my WAN cause I only has 2 port (1 LAN, 1 WAN)) and this caused the WAN to drop. But I after saving the interface, I never clicked apply these settings, I went back into OPT1 and disabled the interface. Thats when I lost my connection.

Now I cannot get any access to home network because of this and no one is home to reset it.

For future use, I want a way for pfsense to make sure my WAN is always up and if not keep trying to connect until it does.

    Thanks
