      Hi All
I don't have Auth Portal setup, yet the log files are filled with Squid error messages?? I would have thought that a service that is not enabled would not be registering error messages..
I have no idea why.. It appears that Squid is not working as it should..
Current setup has squid running transparent.. Yet my squid cache never grows, and i get heaps of errors.. See below.

Dec 10 20:37:05 squid[93616]: Squid Parent: child process 94013 started
Dec 10 20:37:02 squid[90133]: Squid Parent: child process 90281 started
Dec 10 20:36:58 squid[75342]: Exiting due to unexpected forced shutdown
Dec 10 20:36:58 squid[75342]: Squid Parent: child process 75802 exited due to signal 15 with status 0
Dec 10 20:36:57 squid[75342]: Squid Parent: child process 75802 started
Dec 10 20:36:54 squid[52885]: Squid Parent: child process 53472 started
Dec 10 20:36:47 squid[35922]: Squid Parent: child process 36436 started
Dec 10 20:35:10 squid[66873]: Squid Parent: child process 67265 exited with status 0

I am running a clean install with the following:
      Squid 3.1.20 pkg 2.1.2
      PFSense version  2.1.5-RELEASE (amd64)

      Any ideas please..

      Cheers
