Squid 3 Not caching.

Hi There,

I am setting up Squid 3 on my pfsense box and in my tests it has cached nothing!! :-( . Ive just checked the real time log and all i am seeing is TCP_MISS/200 (Sometimes there is 404 & 301). I have tired adjusting the settings to no avail.

I have seen a few threads online but no one has really said what their solution is if at all. I have seen & tired a few other things that I have seen but no luck and nothing in the cache.

I am running pfsense 2.1.5-RELEASE and Squid 3 with dynamic caching on. Caching some updates will be nice.

Does anyone have any ideas what I might be doing wrong? Any help on stopping / reducing these errors and get the caching working will be greatly appreciated.

I've been having issues with Squid3-dev not loading anything. Are you using Squid3 or Squid3-dev?

I am totally lost now. I am not sure why is it not caching anything. The pages are displaying perfectly but nothing is cached.

Is there something else that need's to be configured to get the caching working?
