Hey guys - have a healthy VMware setup w/ VM for pfSense and just moved off of my Asus AC66u.  All works well, have a Intel Pro/1000 VT card with 1 port setup as WAN vswitch.  I have great download speed on my 75/75 FiOS setup, but I am getting 85 Mbps down which is what my Asus pulled but only getting 34-36 Mbps up while my Asus got me 75/80 Mbps up.  This is on a 2.66GHz Q9400 CPU w/ 1GB of RAM and 2 cores dedicated to pfSense.  As stated, download is great, but upload just isn't there.

      Any help is greatly appreciated!

i wouldn't know why there would be a difference between up or downstream on your VM. are you seeing a difference in CPU usage between up or downstream ?

are you sure you don't have limiters / shaping configured on pfsense?

No limiters, no CPU difference, I put my AC66u router back in place and have the same upload restriction…  I think its an issue with Verizon.. sorry to jump the gun.  Always speed test before and after!
