      Hi,

      pfSense 2.2 Web UI stops working after the below message appears in log.

      kernel: [zone: mbuf_jumbo_page] kern.ipc.nmbjumbop limit reached

      I put in /boot/loader.conf the below line to see if it helps.
      kern.ipc.nmbjumbop="246339"

      uname -a
      FreeBSD glx001-swit1.galaxyinnovation.com 10.1-RELEASE-p1 FreeBSD 10.1-RELEASE-p1 #0 fd28f0b(releng/10.1)-dirty: Fri Dec 12 12:44:27 CST 2014    root@pfsense-22-amd64-builder:/usr/obj.amd64/usr/pfSensesrc/src/sys/pfSense_SMP.10  amd64

      The system is Netgate C2758 with Chelsio 10Gbe card installed

      Question 1: Is kern.ipc.nmbjumbop="246339" reasonable or should I increase it more, for example to kern.ipc.nmbjumbop="524288"? This system will get a few gigabits of traffic on LAN.
      Question 2: I did not see this error on 2.1.5, is it realted to 2.2 only and/or to the Chelsio card?

      Update: kern.ipc.nmbjumbop="246339" did not help, i set the configuration to kern.ipc.nmbjumbop="524288". I will update later on if this did help at all.
      Update: the message "kernel: [zone: mbuf_jumbo_page] kern.ipc.nmbjumbop limit reached" also caused SSH access to the host to fail on SSH login prompt. After increasing kern.ipc.nmbjumbop to 524288 the system has been stable for 2 hours now. I did spam the ssytem with iperf for around 100GB of data and everything seems stable for now. I will update this post once I have done additional testing.

      Best regards,

      Martin Roots

        Just to update this thread, I did not have these error messages or crashes for 12 hours. I will update this post by the beginning of next week once comprehensive testing is finished.

        Best regards,
        Martin Roots
