System Log repeated error - hardware issue?

  • Hello all. I'm getting this error in my syslog about 20 times a second:

I recently upgraded from 1.2 RC4 to 1.2 Final, which borked my system. After the update, it wouldn't boot up complaining an ACPI file was no longer present. So  I did a fresh reinstall of 1.2 Final and restored my config and all seemed ok, but now pfsense will restart the server about twice a day and that log continually updates. I saw another post in here about this exact error, but all they said was it was hardware related, but didn't say what hardware. Has anyone else seen this problem and could possibly tell me what to look into? I would appreciate the help.

  • Try disabling ACPI: http://devwiki.pfsense.org/BootOptions

I have read about some other funny issues in other threads that went away when disabling acpi.
