      Hi,

I'm new to pfsense so I'm learning as I go.  I've searched the board and can't seem to find an answer to my question.  I'm sure it has been answered somewhere but I must have missed it.  I would appreciate if someone could help me out.

I've got the setup up shown below.  I'm trying to access the internal web server (192.168.0.1) on my dsl modem from my lan but can't seem to connect or ping it.  I've unchecked the "block private networks" WAN config page.

I thought if the IPs are all static that I should be able to route to the modem but I must be missing something.

If I run a cable from the LAN to the DSL modem I can connect so I've missed some configuration option somewhere.

      I'm running 1.2 RC4 embedded on an ALIX2C3.

      Thanks in advance,
      Tony

          Thanks jahonix,

I read that earlier.  It appeared to me the solution was to add the 'redir' package but I'm running an embedded image so that is not possible.

Also, the pppoe is handled by the modem so I'm not in bridge mode.  Shouldn't this just be a simple routing problem or am I over complicating it?

What rules do you have on your 192.168.1.1 tab? Access to 192.168.0.0/30 allowed?

Good point, I'll have to check tonight at home.  I don't think I have any rules defined so I'll try that out.

              Appreciate the help,
              Tony
