    Hi guys,

a simple thing I noticed recently:

As I am using a centralized remote-syslog server I have configured my pfSense boxes to log there.

Of course both have different hostnames.

Unfortunately both do log with the same name of "pfsense" to the remote syslog server. So I can not decide which bos send the entry.

Is there a chance to change this so the configured hostname will be logged?

    C.

I use the following template to create folders for each client.

      $template TmplMsg, "/var/log/%HOSTNAME%/%PROGRAMNAME%.log"
