I have a multi WAN (2x DSL) with a HFSC queue for each link.  Since this is DSL and sub 1M upload speed I want to at first tackle shaping the upload side of the connection as this is where we are most starved.  In the floating rules I added a IPV4 TCP any/any rule to MATCH and mark as qACK/qDefault.    This rule is at the top of my floating rule set.  If I run pftop and look at the queues, qACK is never getting hit.    On the LAN side of the equation, I have many vlans.  The last rule in each vlan is to direct outbound traffic to one of the 2 DSL gateways using the gateway tab in the firewall rule.  I can't get anything to hit qACK unless I explicitly set the Queue in each VLAN, which then breaks all of the other floating rules (qP2P, qOthersHigh, etc)

Is a floating queue and Vlan specific gateway incompatible?

      This is on release 2.1.3

Thanks in advance for your thoughts and hope everyone has a great holiday.

It was a fat finger error on the rule that catches qAck.  Everything works as advertised.
