Guys I found something interesting while my random searches for single board computers.

A20 Cortex A7 Dual Core CPU
      1GB RAM
      5 on board Ethernet Ports
      WiFi with 2 Antenna connectors
      SATA Port
      SD Card Slot
      USB + USB OTG

And the board priced 69$ (I think they will supply free shipping).

      Here is the link.

Have you guys ever tested this with pF 2.1? Seems like an ideal candidate for home/smb firewall solution with an aluminium casing.

NOTE THAT I HAVE NO AFFILIATION WITH THE SELLER.

Sorry for my ignorance. I just found that pFsense is only for x86 architecture.

          what about this one?

The company name is INCTEL.  ::) A knokoff Intel

Actually my goal is to make a ready-made affordable appliance targeting home to small sized businesses. May be with some branding.

Do you have any suggestion for that?

Of course it is. I'm just trying to build up something I dreamt for a long time. :)

Hmmm - OK.  That computer you showed is nice.

Also, the APUs are nice.  Manufactured in taiwan.

Also low power dual core celeron and the 4 and 8 core supermicro atom boards work well.

                Good luck.

For reference there's some discussion of the 5 port banana pi board here:

I think I better go with known hardware vendor such as SuperMicro with x86 arch. They have barebone kits same as in pFsense store.

Thank you both for your replies.

If anyone interested in banana pi + pfsense, then please refer the link posted by stephenw10.

Its not about porting, but using virtualization technology (QEMU) to run pfsense.
