    Can not ping wan interface

      I just reset my pfsense to a factory reset.
      After doing so the WAN interface can ping its gateway and public sites using the WAN link…how ever I am not anle to ping (or set up a vpn PPTP connection) to the wan interface (the public IP of the WAN)

      How can I troubleshoot this?

        Create a rule on WAN that allows a ping?
        Per default pfSense blocks everything.
