FreeRADIUS is not starting all of the sudden. Here is what I see in the logs.

Used to work fine for very long time.

      pfSense 2.1.5-RELEASE (amd64),
      freeradius2 2.1.12_1/2.2.5_3 pkg v1.6.10

The libssl version mismatch. Built with: 90819f Linked: 9081bf I used to get before, and FreeRADIUS worked fine. So, it is probably not related.

Reinstalling the FreeRADIUS package did not help.

            /var/log/radacct/timecounter/db.daily

            Exists, and weights at 16KB.

            I also have db.forever, db.monthly, and db.weekly. Those are 64KB each.

Simply deleting /var/log/radacct/timecounter/db.daily and starting the service fixed the issue.

The newly created db.daily is 64 KB, not 16 KB. So it looks like it got corrupted somehow.

How do we prevent this from happening in the future?

                Thank you
