      Hi,

      I am using pfsense version 2.1.5 with squid3-dev + squidguard3 + squid Transparent Proxy.

I have enabled HTTPs filtering on my LAN interface and everything working fine, except Lync client are not able to connect with server, I have not set any firewall rules + not set any squid block list.

How I know that what blocking the Lync to communicate with server ?

and How I allow Lync to communicate with server.

Have you checked which ports your Lync client is using and are these ports open on your firewall? http://www.absoluteuc.org/lync-2013-firewall-ports-internal-clients. Have you checked your firewall logs to see what traffic is being blocked, if any? If it's the proxy that's causing the issue, why not set up a proxy bypass for your remote Lync server?

        Google is your friend.

for testing purpose I have allowed my all traffic and their is no any firewall blockage in pfsense, when I stop my squid proxy server or Disabled the HTTPs filtering  Lync client able to connect.

Another obvious question: Have you checked your Squid proxy logs?

Where are the Lync server and client in this setup? You're trying to connect to some external Lync server from a clinet behind pfSense?

              Steve

Your probably getting a cert error with lync. You may have bypass https filter for lync's external server..
What are you seeing in your lync client logs? There is alot of into in there. use Snooper to read them
